If you’re looking for something exciting to do on Sunday, then get your chargers ready, because it’s that time of the year for the 3rd Annual Music City Championship! This event is held at Hobby Lobby Headquarters in Brentwood Tennessee, put on by event coordinator and promoter Tim Moore. This event has been known as one of the largest TC and VTA events for the past two years, and will undoubtedly continue to build in its numbers and reputation.
This year’s race setup has been divided into two classes: Touring Cars and VTA Class. It’s going to be a “Main Event Race”, with six individual races. The best 5 times out of 6 are averaged for the overall finishing score. This format highlights the appreciation for the skilled driver who can perform with consistency in race times throughout the series, and will definitely give an opportunity for racers to really show what they’re made of.
The track opens at 8 AM, and the first race starts at 11 AM. While many local racers will flood the track, we’re also looking forward to seeing competitors from areas such as Atlanta, Memphis, Kentucky, and even Alabama. The entry fee for the event is still $15, which includes barbecue and drinks. The event is sure to be a blast, so bring out the family, and you can all grab lunch at only $5 per person!
